Our 4th of July Recap
How was everyone’s 4th of July? Ours was pretty uneventful but good all at the same time. Branden had to work at night so that was a huge bummer.

The girls and I started the day going to the grocery store and praise the Lord the girls didn’t fight once. Can I get a hallelujah?! They have been at each others throats this Summer so when we were walking in they grabbed each others hands and put their arms around each other while we walked through the parking lot. I seriously couldn’t handle all the sweetness.
After that we hung out at home with Branden till he had to leave for work. After lunch we went to my best friends house and went with them to the beach. We usually go to a beach that is mostly locals so we are used to it being pretty empty but yesterday it was decently packed. Not as bad as a South Florida beaches thankfully. The kids had a lot of fun boogie boarding, building sand castles and playing in the water. The weather was really nice too.
We headed home for dinner and then to fireworks at 9. We got a great view from my nieces middle school. The city puts on a fantastic fireworks show. The kids loved it. Ashlyn got nervous with the loud noises but overall they were all so great.
We got home and they passed out right away. I will call that a pretty successful day.
And can we talk about how I completely forgot to get a cute picture of the three of them in their red, white and blue outfits? I didn’t go out of my way to buy them anything because we had outfits but the only picture I got of the three of them together was after their baths and they were looking all messy haired and cozy. But that’s life, right? Never perfect but still good.
