Linking up here!
When we were in Michigan it was cold for us Floridians so we got to get some good wear out of a lot of Ace’s long sleeved t’s and fun skinny jeans. I seriously love dressing this boy.

About Me | Linking up

Coffee Table Link Up!

By on October 10, 2012

1. You’re at Target or Walmart, what’s the first department you hit?

First of all I am a Target girl all the way. Walmart, I can’t! Don’t even ask.

Anyway, I always hit up the dollar section. My husband will actually park on the grocery side so we don’t go past it when we walk in because I drive him nuts with searching the dollar section for something new. If not the dollar section then the baby or clothes sections. I also lurve Starbucks so if its early in the morning I will get me a Caramel Mocha Frappuccino!

2. What are 3 items you always have stocked in your home, fridge or pantry?
Other then the necessities I have US weekly always on hand, Hersey’s Almond Bars, and Diet Coke. Those are normal things right?

3. Do you prefer shopping alone or with others? Why?
Depends, I usually like shopping with my bestie Maggie because for some reason we always are able to find stuff that looks good on the other person. I am not a fan of really shopping with anyone else as much so I prefer to shop alone so I can concentrate on what I am looking for.

4. What’s the biggest splurge you’ve ever made?
Hmmm…I would have to say out Jeep.

5. What’s the best deal you’ve ever snagged?
I got my UGGs for a huge discount because the inside colors were slightly different. It was so unnoticeable but I wasn’t going to argue.

Pinterest Challenge #1

By on September 21, 2012
Ok now that I have time I can show you my Pinterest Challenge.
I was going to a baby shower last night (Friday) and thought a monthly onsie gift set would be a cute, unique gift. The couple is one of the sweetest couples ever and I knew they would appreciate a homemade gift. I bought 4 packs of onsies in different sizes (0-3, 3-6, 6-9, 12) and printed out these monthly designs. I followed the instructions on the paper made for iron on prints. My Mom helped me since I was in such a rush and she had done this stuff before and I didn’t have time to mess up. She was a lifesaver! They turned out super cute. I wish I had gotten a better picture but I was running late so I just snapped this one.
I can’t wait to see baby Sophia in them when she finally gets here! I am thinking about making more for another friend and if anyone is interested I may just sell some in my shop Au Natural Baby!

Show us your Pinterest Challenges!

What I’m Loving…

What I’m Loving Wednesday!
This Chevron IPhone case. Really wishing I had an IPhone right now!
This Skip Hop Diaper Bag. Very nice and doesn’t look like your typical diaper bag.
Oink, Piglet! This is the book Ace has started to really like. We got it from my friend Pam and he loves rubbing the pigs nose since it is soft. It also is a cute and quick read before bed.
The new Thirsties Duo Print. It is called Scottish Storm, how fun is that? I love the preppy look. They also have this in pink for girls.

And of course this adorable face!

If any of these items appeal to you they are linked to Amazon for you to buy. Well, all of them except my child.  I love that feature!

Weekend Rewind

By on June 18, 2012
One of my most favorite people in the world was in town so my sister, Ace and I all went to dinner with the most fabulous Anna. Anna is a friend from high school who moved to NYC when I moved to Tampa. Her, myself, my sister and friend Maggie were all pretty insuperable prior to us all moving away and referred to ourselves as the Fab Four. Yes, we are fabulous and yes there are four of us. Clever huh? Maggie was out of town for her old high schools reunion so Ace took her place to make a new Fab Four. We caught up on life and have a great time together. I am so sad it was such a short visit. We didn’t get any pictures either which was such a bummer.
BIG DAY! Ace is 11 months old, first trip to the zoo and first popsicle. We headed to the zoo for 10am and met up with the family I work for and their baby Brady. We had a great time but it was HOT! The babies were good considering they usually nap at 10am (totally a fail on my part planning it for that time) and how warm it was. Luckily Ace fell asleep in his stroller half way through and we headed out after lunch.

Got his ticket!

After the zoo we went to Target and got some goodies for Ace’s birthday and my sisters birthday not so surprise weekend. She figured it out when we went to the movies but I have some more surprises in store for her.
After Ace got up from his nap we had dinner and played. I really wanted him to get a popsicle from the ice cream man so we headed out front to wait for him. Go figure the night we actually make it out there he doesn’t come by! Such a bummer. Bran hit some golf balls in the empty lot next door and Ace played with his toys in his baby pool. I remembered we had these natural strawberry popsicles in the freezer and grabbed one of those.
Bran hitting some golf balls

I tried to let him bite it but it was way too cold and he kept trying to grab it and then would cry because it would be too cold to hold as well. I finally stuck him on my lap and ripped pieces off for him to eat. We were a disaster but that is the kind of stuff I love! I love those moments where you get messy because you are doing something fun and memorable. I made Branden grab the camera and told him to just keep shooting. I think he thought I was nuts.

Wanted to hold it but it was too cold 🙁

This worked out better

We were a mess!
After that we headed inside so Mr. Sticky could take a bath. That was interesting to say the least. Then he got PJ’s on and headed to bed.
Father’s Day! Branden had to work from 7am to 3pm so we spent part of the day at my Dad’s house enjoying their amazing pool.

When my sister and I got there and first worked on a fun little painting project with Ace for Branden. We tried to get his hands which didn’t work so we got his feet and butt print. This was suggested by my awesome friend Christel. She said she does this every year with her kids so I had to try it. It was so much fun to watch Ace play in the paint. I love the mess of it all.

Then we went in the pool and listen to music. Bran got here after work and we hung out for a bit and then headed home. I stayed and got my hair chopped off. I needed less hair to deal with. I will get a picture of it later.
Overall it was a very fun weekend. We got a few of our Summer To-Do List actives checked off our list too!

What I’m Loving Wednesday: Linking Up!

That we just got this fun play set for $15! Branden is on his way now to go pick it up! Yay!

My job! I seriously have the best job. I get to be with my son and play with one of the cutest little babies ever all day. Brady and Ace are the best of friends, unless one of them has a spoon then they “fight” over it.
Two little boogies on my lap.
